11 Halloween outings for East Bay kids that are not scary

  1. Halloween Spooktacular at Downtown Berkeley Library on Monday, October 24. Age-appropriate stories for preschoolers and older, costumes are encouraged.
  2. Halloween Storytelling and Magic at South Branch of Berkeley Library (Russell Street) on Thursday, October 27.
  3. Parade on Lakeshore and Lakepark Avenues on Saturday the 29th. Local merchants will greet kids with treats.
  4. Parade around San Pablo Park on Saturday the 29th. Costume contest, freeze dance contest, and free food and goodie bags.
  5. Boo at the Zoo runs on Saturday and Sunday at the Oakland Zoo. Lots of activities and a free ride for kids in costumes.
