It’s been a year since Mr. Mopps re-opened as the well-loved independent toy store in North Berkeley. Devin and Jenny, the owners, have brightened up the place and brought in some fun events for the community. My 7-year old son received an amazing face painting session there a few months ago.
And now, I’m pleased to say, the management has accepted my invitation to host a diaper drive in their store.
Unopened packages of diapers and wipes can be dropped in the collection barrel marked with a Help A Mother Out sign.

Don’t live near Mr. Mopps?
Collection barrels for diaper donations are also at Rockridge Kids, Play Cafe and Solano Kids.
Disclosure: I serve on the board for Help A Mother Out and part of the Huggies ambassador team, compensated to help spread the word about their Every Little Bottom program which aims to raise awareness about diaper need in America.
