Winter Weeks @ Lawrence Hall Comments

Visit the hall during winter break - exhibits open every day! Engineer a new creation, meet a friendly animal, or fly through the universe in our interactive Planetarium program.

Winter Weeks Schedule:

Ingenuity Lab -- Noon–4:00 p.m.

Kinetic Sculptures (December 26–31) Use various energy sources to create a sculpture of your own moves. You can make it spin, lift, drop, or roll.

Boats: (January 1–6) Design a boat and test it on water. Can it stay afloat? Race your friends and see whose boat can move the fastest, even when a little weight is added.

Animal Discovery Room 1:30–4:00 p.m. Meet some furry animals like chinchillas and rabbits that have coats to prepare them for winter's cold. Or, visit with our resident reptiles, which need heat lamps and warm rocks to keep them toasty.
