New kid on the block: Keeka baby clothes and art studio

In a tiny retail space in the upper part of Solano Avenue, for just a few months, Kee-ka organics has opened a pop-up shop.

I love the modern striped one piece outfits and brought home one for my nephew-to-be. In addition to their own line of supercute organic baby clothes, the husband and wife owners, Berkeley parents, natch, are also using the space to showcase art, from mobiles to handmade puppets. I fell instantly in love with the photographs of vintage toy cars.

Worth the drive? If North Berkeley is not your ‘hood, note that Kee-Ka is just one block west of Zachary’s pizza and around the corner from the Thousand Oaks tot park.

The address is 1749 Solano Avenue, on the same block as the children’s haircut salon Snippety Crickets.

I love all your reviews! The most helpful ones include an address or contact number. Does this store have a website? I’m not getting very lucky googling it. :-( Thank you for all the tips!
