Parents’ Night Out (or PNO as it is affectionately called) is the best remedy for those of us complaining about the high price of babysitting or that our parents all live so far away. Hyped (by you) as a kids’ party, chances are that your children will be begging for it after only a time or two. My best advice for a smooth PNO is that you familiarize yourself with the place first — don’t let your child’s first visit be the time you dump them there and run to a movie. Also, don’t expect your kids to rest!
The East Bay has some fantastic PNO options for ages 2 to 11.
