Preschool Frolic at Aurora School is lots of fun

Last year, I took my three-year old to Aurora School for their first ever Science + Art Preschool Frolic. We both had a great time exploring their campus, listening to stories, playing on the yard, and eating snacks in the celebration of trees. I can’t remember if Sawyer took part in the apple tasting (I did!) but we were both in awe at the woodshop with real working tools.

This year on October 3, Aurora will once again open its doors to young children for a frolicking good time. East Bay preschoolers and their families are invited to enjoy an art- and science-filled celebration of water. The day’s events include recycled fish sculptures and cork boat building.

The event schedule is designed to highlight the best of what Aurora has to offer and allow children and their curious parents to poke around the campus:

10:15 Sing and Dance with Aurora Music and Movement teacher Eve Decker
10:45 Story Time with Aurora parent Amanda Howell
11:15 Play Instruments with local music favorite Andy Fullington
11:45 Sing and Dance with Aurora Music and Movement teacher Eve Decker
