Reader Kristen submitted a tip about a great place for adults that is also kid-friendly. Toast Wine Lounge in Rockridge has a kids menu, coloring sheets, and a killer mac and cheese for the kiddies AND 30+ wines by the glass for the parents & an outdoor patio out front!
Wine for mommy, mac & cheese for the kiddos, and I am happy. My boys LOVE the mac & cheese and my friend’s girls love a strawberry dessert thing they have sometimes. The menu changes all the time, so I don’t know if they still have the strawberry thing now. but the mac & cheese never goes away.
