So what’s the deal with this camp? When I saw the promotional video during the winter, I fell in love hard. It’s like Maker Faire for kids with days stuffed full of science, art, innovation, and silliness. My son is test-driving the camp this summer and I’ll be sure to report back what we think. At Camp Galileo, campers get hands-on with art, science and outdoor activities every day, plus participate in plenty of silliness, including water day, the rubber chicken cheer, skits and songs. At Galileo Summer Quest, campers try their hand at the things they love, experiencing one Major and two exciting Minors during each 2-week session, plus have tons of fun during water day and the GSQ variety show. At both programs, the structure of our camp day is carefully designed to create a balanced experience, so budding engineers take time to explore their artistic sensibilities, young artists have a chance to see the scientific side of things and everyone gets to have lots of fun in the sun.
