For many of us this weekend is no regular weekend, but rather the start of a lengthy stretch of time during which we’ll be spending extra time with the kids. Pace yourselves!

- Up for an after-dark adventure? Tilden Park Christmas Fantasy and Oakland’s Zoo Lights are both in full effect after 5.30 pm.

- Santa will be at Frances Albrier Social Hall at San Pablo park from 11 – 1 on Saturday.
- Tales of Olympus, a production of Bay Area Children’s Theatre, is playing in downtown Berkeley twice on Saturday
