Our go to treat is always ice cream. Always. Oakland ice cream spots are creative and delicious. My youngest usually goes for plain ol' vanilla (so boring!) but I can usually talk my older into chocolate – luckily, almost every place has both. I've rounded up just a few of our favorite places to order up a scoop near Oakland, Berkeley, and the greater (510). Here ya go!
Heather says, “I had never seriously considered ordering a delivery of ice cream until this year — and now I'm a super fan! I ordered two or three frozen custard pies from Lexie's Frozen Custard, an assortment of mini pints from Little Giant Ice Cream, and a make-your-own sundae kit from Smitten Ice Cream. I love to see how our wonderful East Bay food scene continues to adapt during these crazy days.”
