Fun bilingual Spanish music classes for babies & toddlers through age 7 (with caregivers) feature engaging songs from the Healthy Me and Saludable Soy albums. Taught by native bilingual teachers with 20+ years' experience, these classes foster early music and language learning.

Yama Kids Yoga toddler and preschool classes introduce yoga through games, stories, dancing, and music. The class encourages movement, breathing, and mindfulness, as teachers introduce kids to the language and importance of yoga. Ages 2+

Berkeley City Ballet is Berkeley's premier school for classical ballet training. They offer Pre-Ballet classes for dancers ages 2.5 and up, weekly Youth Ballet classes for ages 8 and up, and a Pre-Professional Program for dancers ages 7 and up.

Soccer for ages 2-4! Parents join in to help ease kids into group training focused on dribbling, passing, and shooting. Coaches create a fun, engaging environment that supports technical skill-building and joyful play.

PACT (Parents & Children Together) is a school-year, play-based program for toddlers (20+ months) and caregivers, meeting Tu/Th, 9:30-11:30 am. Each session includes free play, art, music, snack, outdoor play, stories, and a Thursday parent education and support meeting.

Soccer Stars blends learning and play in a nurturing, non-competitive environment. With an expert-designed curriculum and passionate coaches, the program builds confidence, develops skills, and creates joyful experiences for every young player through the FUNdamentals of soccer.

Kids' Martial arts begins at age 4 -- called "Jungle Gym"

Baby ballet starts at 6 months, Tutu Toddlers at 18 months, with early and pre-ballet classes available through age 8 at various Bay Area locations.

Gymnastics for toddlers and preschoolers goes to age 5. Ninja Warrior class begins at age 4.

Bear Cubs gymnastics classes are offered for 14 mo-age 5 throughout the week. Parent participation varies. Held when Cal is in session, not during summer.

Tiny Tots (parent/child) classes begin at age 6 months with a full range of lessons for all ages thereafter.

Soccer for kids 2+, tailored to their developmental stage. Classes are for specific age windows and meet at outdoor locations around the East Bay.

Play and social skills classes are for ages 2 to 4.5.

Early childhood music fundamentals and group piano classes for ages 3-7 are offered each fall and spring.

Parkour classes begin at age 2 with parents accompanying as needed. Mini Movers is a class for both child and parent.

Classes for ages 3+ at Destiny’s North Oakland center in dance, martial arts and performance build confidence and self-expression. Right now, Teddy Bear Hip Hop and Teddy Bear Dance.

Sweet Peas gymnastics starts at age 6 months.

AquaTech Swim School specializes in small group swim lessons for children aged 6 months through 12 years.

Dance with Me and Creative Movement classes begin at age 3 with parent participation. Boys welcome.

Baby Aqua Babies begins at 6 months with the parent in the pool.
