Adventure Kinderland: Indoor play space in Richmond

Adventure Kinderland in Richmond: main play area

Does your two- to seven-year old have boundless energy and the need to climb up, over, on, and through everything? If so, you ought to drive straight to Adventure Kinderland and take advantage of this new playspace before everyone else finds out about it!

(And here’s a discount from LivingSocial if you’re going >>)

I visited last Saturday with my three- and eight-year old sons. They loved it and played for an hour straight before I dragged them out ignoring their pleas for “One more time” or “Take another video in slow-motion.” We found the facility to be clean and super fun just like a tiny jungle or a mini (but much cleaner) Jungle.

What’s to love?
Lots of gross motor play in an indoor playground that is not at all gross. Really cool climbing equipment and a ball pit that has my children begging for a return visit. Children up to age twelve are invited to play and get out their ya-yas.

In this time-lapse video, Milo takes us on a tour of the lower and upper levels of the play structure.

There is a separate, safe toddler play area for children two and under with large foam shapes and cozy reading area.

No parents are allowed on the upper level of the play structure or on the slides BUT you must supervise your children AND there are only 3 seats for adults, so good luck with all that!

  1. Thank you for mentioning this playground. I’m from Richmond area myself, and it’s great to know there’s a new playground in the area. Nearest one is too far. Kids loved it, took lots of pictures. Plan to go back on Sunday again. Price is ok in my opinion. $15 isn’t that high for the area, especially seeing how it’s the only playground within miles.

  2. My son and I had a wonderful time at this playground. The stuff was very friendly and courteous in welcoming us. There are plenty of different structures, obstacles and play areas to keep your kid entertained for hours. My son loved sliding down the slides into the bubbles and going through all the holes and obstacles. Most importantly the playground is very safe, I was totally relaxed when my boy was playing. There is also a huge and nicely decorated party rooms for birthdays and special occasion not to mention the go cars that my son refused to come off of. Overall I would highly recommend this playground, truly one of a kind.

  3. My almost-2-year-old and I checked it out this morning and it was super fun! Clean, bright, great music playing, and so much fun! My little one is very adventurous and loved the bigger kid area, but the older kids that were there were having a blast, too. Staff was nice and I really can’t say enough good things. We will definitely back!

  4. My 4- year-old son is very energetic and adventures lover. He had the best time ever being in this “Jungle”. He played non stop, so when I took him home he fell to sleep for 3 hours. For myself, this is very clean, bright place, playing Disney cartoon music is not very loud. Lady (the owner) is very nice, cheerful and friendly to all visitors. (Where does she get so much energy from? :)) Highly recommend for Days Out or Birthday Parties. They have great Adds On.
    Thanks!
