Baby’s Day Out at Brushstrokes in Berkeley (Recap)

It’s the best part of running this website – greeting readers face-to-face – and that’s what we get to do whenever we host a Baby’s Day Out at Brushstrokes Studio in Berkeley.

Things to do with babies in Berkeley

Shannon Nicholls of Fig and Peach photography joined us to snap photos of moms and babies while they made ceramic gifts with footprints. All the photos in this post are her work.

We had the opportunity to give away a ScholarShare account with $250 in it to one lucky guest. (Note that if she puts $250 into the account every month, it will grow to more than $100,000 when her baby is ready for college. Play with the college savings calculator here >)

We also told guests about Parenthoods, a new-to-the-East-Bay social network app for parents. Parenthoods is building a community of East Bay parents that connect to share advice, meetup, and help each other conquer one of life’s most craziest rides…parenthood.  Look for more fun events from them soon!

Thanks to both of those sponsors for making our event possible. We will do it again soon! (Sign up for our newsletter at the bottom of this post so that you don’t miss an event announcement.)

Thanks to Brushstrokes for hosting us again – and to Fig and Peach Photography for these beautiful pictures.
