Tickets are now available for the Magical Christmas Train by River Fox out of West Sacramento. Book ahead to choose your perfect time slot and start planning your holiday jammies (matching? ironic? kids only?!).
The special holiday train ride leaves from a boarding location just off Old River Road. While on board for a one-hour round trip, you and your family will be served hot cocoa and a treat; visited by Santa Claus and elves; and all the photo oops that come with it. I think the elves read stories and provide crafts, too. No outside food is allowed, but there will be other concessions available (think candy, chips, beer, and wine).
This magical railway experience is open to kids of all ages but is probably best for those with the most Christmas Spirit. If your children will joyfully participate in sing-a-longs or find trains especially awesome, they will be thrilled! Book your tickets now >>

Dates and Times: The one-hour Magical Christmas Train is offered four times each day on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays beginning on Nov. 27 through Dec. 20 and then Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday of Christmas week.

With new Covid19 restrictions has the train had to be cancelled again?
I don’t know, but I’ll find out.
As of today, the Sacramento River Fox seems to be accepting bookings for the Magic Santa Train.
