Celebrate the 4th of July in Martinez with a parade. Come early for the Flag Raising Ceremony at the Veteran’s Memorial Building. Then line up along Main St. to watch the parade starting at 10am. Parade begins at Court St. & Main St. Ends at Alhambra Ave. & Main St. *subject to change
For the Fireworks Show
The Fireworks Show will be held at the Martinez Marina, and will begin at approximately 9 p.m. Vehicle access to the Marina will be closed off between 6-7 a.m. and will include access at Berrellessa Street, Ferry Street and Marina Vista Avenue. Only residents with a permit will be allowed into the Marina area. All vehicle access into and out of the Marina will be stopped at 6 p.m. until after the fireworks show concludes around 10 p.m. We encourage residents who live in, or frequent the area, to plan ahead.
To attend the Fireworks Show, the City encourages the public to walk to the event, park in and around the Downtown area, or use ride sharing options. The duration of the show will be about 45 minutes.
