Bay Area Book Festival Virtual Programming for Kids – The Fabled Life of Aesop

You know the fables “The Tortoise and the Hare,” The Boy Who Cried Wolf,” and “The Ant and the Grasshopper.” But what do you know about Aesop himself? His fables have been told and retold around the world for over 2,500 years; and, now, through Ian Lendler’s wonderful book The Fabled Life of Aesop, you can learn the real story of the greatest mythmaker of them all. Come listen to Ian and find out how Aesop–and his famous, timeless fables–came to be.
