Head to Oracle Park for Discovery Day, part of The Bay Area Science Festival. This in-person, all-ages event will feature 100 hands-on science experiments, games, and demonstrations where visitors can:
- interact with robot in the Robot Zoo,
- use food to model how vaccines work,
- look inside themselves with thermal imaging,
- create a mini-water tornado,
- learn how neurons communicate with each other,
- meet scientific role models who are changing the world,

The Bay Area Science Festival takes place April 21-30. Kids, teens and adults are able to discover the ways science, technology, engineering and math influence everyday life. The festival includes in-person and virtual events across the Bay Area, including Oakland Zoo, UC Berkeley, USCF’s Maker Lab and other locations. Two Discovery Days, one in San Francisco on April 24 and another in the East Bay on April 30, are the marquee events.
