Head to CSU East Bay Hayward Campus for Discovery Day, part of The Bay Area Science Festival. This in-person, all-ages event will feature 40 hands-on science experiments, games, and demonstrations where visitors can:

The Bay Area Science Festival takes place April 21-30. Kids, teens and adults are able to discover the ways science, technology, engineering and math influence everyday life. The festival includes in-person and virtual events across the Bay Area, including Oakland Zoo, UC Berkeley, USCF’s Maker Lab and other locations. Two Discovery Days, one in San Francisco on April 24 and another in the East Bay on April 30, are the marquee events.

Parking is available in lots G&H. Enter the Science Festival at the EAST BAY letters for activities outside of the Science Buildings. Most events will be outside with limited numbers of indoor tours of science labs.
