World Migratory Bird Day Birdwalk
Celebrate migratory birds today as you identify and count shorebirds along the San Francisco Bay! Many fall migrants use the bay as a stopover re-fueling spot, others spend the winter resting and feeding along the mudflats. “Wade” through the distinguishing marks of grays and browns, long or short legs and bills turned up or down! Beginners welcomed and encouraged.
Bring your own binoculars or a few pairs will be available to borrow.
Drop-in; no registration required.
