Book Event & Reading: May Your Life Be Deliciosa

May Your Life Be Deliciosa is a story of love, family, tradition, and “cooking by heart.” BPL is happy to have the author, Michael Genhart, and 2022 Pura Belpré Illustrator Honor Winner, Loris Lora, here to talk about this lovely picture book. Mr. Genhart will be here in person, and Ms. Lora will be “Zooming” in to our space here on the 4th floor. We’ll hear some of the family stories that influenced the creation of the book, hear the story read aloud, and we might even have some other surprises in store!

This program is best for kids ages 5 and up and their families.
