Join the Camp Tawonga community for the annual Erev Rosh Hashanah.
All are welcome, from babies to great grandparents. This is a family-friendly service full of Tawonga ruach (spirit), learning and song led by our service founders Deborah Newbrun (2018 Covenant Award winner and former Camp Director), Sue Reinhold and Isaac Zones. In addition, there will be incredible supporting musicians harmonizing and playing percussion, guitar and bass.
Don’t forget to bring a shofar for the ceremonial community blowing of the shofar! Children ages 5-12 can also join a separate kid program led by Tawonga staff with new year-themed activities.
There is ample free parking at Mcnears Beach. However, we are expecting a very large turnout and highly encourage carpooling.
This event is presented in partnership with Kesher Marin and PJ Library.
