The Hayward Area Historical Society invites families to celebrate Dia de los Muertos at the HAHS Museum of History and Culture.
HAHS’ annual Day of the Dead exhibit featuring local artists runs through all of October.
On Saturday, October 17th, families can join for a special Day of the Dead story time at 11am. Drop in crafts, including making paper ofrendas and marigolds, run from 11:30-2:30pm.
For those with shorter attention spans, the museum also offers a free play arts table, or a book and toy nook.
The Hayward Area Historical Society is located on the 2nd floor at 22380 Foothill Blvd. Please enter through the parking lot side and take the elevator.
