The Family Art Making table offers a drop-in art project activity led by professional teaching artists on select Saturdays from 11 am–3 pm. Artists of all ages are welcome to join.

de Young offers free general admission every Saturday for all Bay Area residents though The Free Saturdays initiative. Visitors ages 17 and under always receive free admission to the permanent collection galleries. To ensure your preferred time slot, please reserve your entry date and time in advance online.
The Free Saturdays initiative at the de Young makes it possible for Bay Area residents to explore the de Young’s permanent collections for free every Saturday if you live in any of the following counties: Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, Napa, San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Solano, or Sonoma.
