Shabbat morning services are the first Saturday of each month starting in September and ending in May. There are two age-appropriate services.
Shabbat Mishpacha is for families and pre-school age children for an interactive hour of singing and dancing ending with a small snack. Families are welcome to hang around afterwards and supervise their children playing until time for the children to join the main service singing Ayn Keloheinu or just looking cute on the bima. Then we have free lunch that we hope you will enjoy.
T'fillat Y'ladim is for families and children in Kindergarten through 2nd grade. Each month we focus on a Hebrew letter that is reinforced. The children get to look for their letter in the real Torah. We sing and dance and read a story each month. It's a great way for children and their parents to get to know each other. We hope families will stay for lunch following the main service.
Both services start at 10:15 am at Temple Beth Abraham.
