Family-Friendly Tour: California Indian Uses of Native Plants

This is a free docent lead family-friendly theme tour, California Indian Uses of Native Plants. Play the traditional Miwok game of staves, grind acorns, and wash your hands with soap root. You will see Native American artifacts and the plants used to make them, while learning important food sources. Meet at the Botanic Garden Visitor Center. Rain cancels.
