Family STEAM Night! - 510 Families

Family STEAM Night!

Join us for Family S.T.E.A.M.* Night at the Main Library!

This event is the first in a series of community building, hands-on, exploratory evening programs for families. Dinner will be served.

Family STEAM night will be facilitated by Play-Well TEKnologies, whose engineers are experts in helping children find their creative side through building with LEGO®.

The Play-Well experience boosts participants' confidence, creativity, and ability to collaborate.

Attendance is limited to 20 children ages 8 – 12 and their adult caregivers. Please RSVP by calling the Main Library’s Children's Room at 238-3615.

Funding for this program has been generously provided by a grant from Friends of the Oakland Public Library (FOPL) and the Association of Children's Librarians of Northern California (ACL).
