Join for the annual safety campaign to help prevent early childhood accidents and injuries. Habitot’s annual Early Childhood Safety Campaign, now in its 18th year, seeks to address the high number of unintentional accidents among very young children—“the biggest threat to the life and health of children one to six years old”, according to the American Academy of Pediatrics.
Community experts from the Red Cross, Berkeley Public Health, the Berkeley Fire Department, Safe Kids California, the Red Cross and others will be at Habitot to demonstrate ways to keep young kids safe including poison control, earthquake safety, non-toxic homes, animal/pet safety, toddler helmet fittings and sales and more.
