Juneteenth Arts Based Peaceful Protest (MOCHA Porch Talk)
By centering Black voices, we can listen, learn and ask ourselves “how are we building an anti-racist world”? At MOCHA, the belief is that art is a vehicle in turning love into solidarity in the fight for Black lives. This event will be held at MOCHA, 1221 Broadway, in the lower level of Oakland's City Center and zoom. We will be following social distancing practices. Everyone will be required to wear face coverings to participate. In this time that we are still sheltering in place, MOCHA wants to make a statement by peacefully gathering. This Porch Talk Series is MOCHA's peaceful protest.
