Why does voting even matter?? Can kids really make a difference, even when they can’t vote? Break it down with Calling All Future Voters! co-author Laura Atkins and Peter Limata of “Story Time with Mr. Limata”

Come to this interactive event where co-author Laura Atkins will share her new picture book, Calling All Future Voters! – co-written with voting rights advocates Edward Hailes, Jr. and Jennifer Lai Peterson.

Laura and Peter Limata – famous from Storytime with Mr. Limata – will then help young readers understand what voting is and why it’s important. Kids will have a chance to talk about issues they care about, and even make a poster to share their ideas. A perfect event for families who want to engage in the importance of voting and civic action during this election season. Best suited for 3rd-6th graders.
