Live Painting Sessions with Artist Leon Kennedy

Leon Kennedy has created art for more than fifty years in various media, including found materials from the streets of Oakland. He has been an artist in residence at the East Bay Depot for Creative Reuse, and the Smithsonian American Art Museum owns one of his pieces. There will be three live painting sessions with Mr. Kennedy to celebrate his art:

  • Main Library: Sunday, 1/12 at 3 PM
  • West Branch: Tuesday, 1/14 at 5 PM
  • 81st Avenue Branch: Saturday, 1/18 at 2 PM
