A lion dance is a traditional Chinese cultural performance where dancers in a lion costume mimic a lion’s movement to bring good luck, drive away evil spirits, and celebrate festivals like Lunar New Year. Dancers and drumming, cymbals, and gongs to create elaborate, athletic, and symbolic routines. ​
