Oakland First Fridays: Family-friendly Street Party

September is Oakland Pride Month. Kick off the celebration with Oakland Proud First Friday.

From 5 pm to 9 pm, there’ll be food, music, community, and art along Telegraph St between West Grand and 27th Streets.

To keep this fabulous public event running smoothly, the following items are prohibited:

bicycles, rollerblades, skateboards, etc.
fireworks, sparklers, weapons of any kind
open alcohol outside designated areas, marijuana of any kind
glass containers
items for sale unless you’re a registered vendor

To keep the neighbors happy and the event safe, all people clear out promptly at 9 pm.
