Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with the San Lorenzo Library! Learn how to make paper molas and express your creativity.
Mola is a handmade textile art from Central and South America and is used traditionally for clothing, artists layer brightly colored geometric fabric shapes and animals to create beautiful images. Brightly colored paper, pastels, and tempera sticks will be provided to create your own molas.
This program is drop-in, no registration required. The craft is designed for kids (ages 5+).
