Words in the Wild Teaching Fellow Paige Clark will lead an exciting, outdoor, poetry-themed storytime at the Kaiser Rooftop Garden in downtown Oakland.
Led by reading specialists and seasoned educators, these storytimes are appropriate for all learners and they encourage family members to join in the fun as well. Every minute is packed with meaningful connection, enriching literacy experiences, movement, play, and lots and LOTS of giggles.
At the end of each Storytime experience, they will give out free books courtesy of the Oakland Literacy Coalition. Learning specialists will also connect families with additional resources to support joyful, stress-free reading at home.
Words in the Wild Storytime is a one-hour outdoor program! We will provide an alternative date in case of rain.
