“Quirky Crowns" Upcycled Art For Kids - 510 Families

“Quirky Crowns” Upcycled Art For Kids

Housebound kids can be the King or Queen of their castle. Best for ages 1st -6th grade (6-12)

In this first of a four-week virtual recycle art camp, Kid’s can make their own unique crowns made from scraps and odds and ends hidden in their home recycling bin. In each session students will be taught transferable skills and create their own UpCycled Maker Kit to use for future projects.

Nancy includes mindfulness exercises to help students learn to self-regulate in times of stress; movement breaks; standards based learning goals; and strategies to help children cope with stressful Covid-19 conditions (CDC recommendations). Nancy will interact with children as they work– answering questions, providing direction and giving encouragement.
