Roller Hockey for Beginners
Children learn how to puck-handle, pass, shoot and play roller hockey scrimmages. This is the perfect class for beginners with some skating experience to learn how to play hockey in a fun environment. Must have some skating experience.
MUST REQUEST A FREE TRIAL AND RESERVE IN ADVANCE OF CLASS. FREE TRIALS ARE NOT SCHEDULED AFTER THE CLASS IS FULL. IF THE CLASS IS FULL, YOU WILL BE PROVIDED WITH ANOTHER OPTION FOR CLASS DATE AND TIME FOR A FUTURE SEASON. NEW PLAYERS ONLY. ONE FREE TRIAL CLASS PER PLAYER.
Loaner gear available for players at the rink—at no charge. Inline hockey padded shorts (girdle) are not available to borrow but can be purchased at the rink.
Players use inline skates, hockey shin guards, elbow pads, gloves, helmet with face cage, stick and inline hockey padded shorts with cup. Players are welcome to bring their own gear as well.
Items can also be purchased at the rink, as the best Hockey Store in the Bay Area, Hockey X Superstore, is connected to the Dry Ice Inline Hockey Rink.
One Village Sports offers sneaker hockey classes for ages 4-6, roller hockey classes for ages 5-9, baseball classes for ages 3-12, soccer classes for beginners ages 3-12, and more advanced soccer classes through our PDP (Player Development Program) Classes for ages 4-16. We run classes year-round, 5 seasons each year. Must join for the remainder of the season when joining after the season start date– prorate for the remainder of the season. Classes start at $15 per class.
