Caminos de la Ciencia is an effort to bring STEM research at UC Berkeley to the Spanish-speaking community through partnerships and cooperation. Organizers present Spanish-language science talks and bilingual hands-on activities in local neighborhood spaces.
Before and after each talk, participants can snack on chips and salsa and interact with the scientists one-on-one, and “meet & greet” with the scientist. The scientists also often bring visual aids that they can show or pass around the audience. Families are welcome.
