Scientific Adventures: Wildlife Garden (Habitat Installation and Planting)

Are you up for a challenge? Scientific Adventures for Families (SAFG) presents a new STEAM project each month, designed to put your creative, collaborative mind to the test. In January, join us for a program dedicated to creating a wildlife-friendly garden habitat at the Golden Gate Branch Library. We will install plants and habitat elements in our new wildlife garden space! Help us make this new area inviting for all sorts of species.

This program is part of a 2018-19 partnership between Golden Gate and Scientific Adventures; all classes run from 3:30-5:00 on the last Thursday of each month. Our winter/spring dates are as follows:

  • January 31: Habitat Installation/Planting
  • February 28: Binary Code Bracelets
  • March 28: Water Filter Systems
  • April 25: Exploring Owl Pellets
  • May 30: Hot and Cold Reactions

Even as we are social-distancing, we're sending out kid-friendly activities to East Bay parents every Friday.
