Kids ages 0-6 and their caregivers are invited to join for ongoing educational series for young people at the Sierra Club SF Bay Chapter: KALE (Kids Actively Learning Environmentalism!).
This bi-monthly program is designed to engage children and their caregivers with stories and lessons about nature and the environment around them. Programs typically include an environment-related story-time followed by a hands-on activity such as seed planting, art-making, or scavenger hunt.
KALE programs are held the second and fourth Thursday of each month from 10:30 to 11:15 AM at the Bay Chapter office.
The series is free and open to every child in the community, Sierra Club member or not. Lessons are designed for kids under 6. All adults must be accompanied by a child. Caregivers are required to stay for the duration.
