SummerDance! – Cajun/Zydeco dancing

Learn dances from around the world at SummerDance!

Experience a new dance each week, three Saturdays in a row this July at the Main Library. Experts will lead group dance instruction workshops in the Bradley C. Walters Community Room – or outside! Enjoy the beautiful Oakland summer weather, experience dance from diverse cultures, and meet new neighbors. No experience necessary!

Cajun/Zydeco dancing with a LIVE Cajun music trio! Dance Instructor Cheryl McBride has been inspiring dancers to move their feet to the dancing beat for more than 30 years. Originally from New Orleans, she is well known for teaching Cajun and Zydeco dancing.
