Virtual Art Class: The Brave Puppy

Join Young Art USA on Martin Luther King day for a special one-time free class centered on the adventures of the Brave Puppy!

Students will explore the connection between art and storytelling, focusing on how art can serve as empowering self-expression and will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of the character and how the story unfolds. The class will begin with basic shape recognition giving this puppy a character as he goes along on his adventures to help save the planet. Register in advance and you will receive the link to the event upon registration.

What you will need:

  • paper
  • pencil
  • eraser
  • your favorite art tools to color with

Rules for joining the class:

  • Please keep your microphone muted
  • Raise your hand if you have a question
  • Show your art up close to the camera when asked to share progress
  • No recording the lesson out of respect to other students
