Celebrate the opening of Alameda’s newest park with a free, all-ages festival featuring some of the Bay Area’s most talented musicians and dance artists at the Waterfront Park Launch Fest. With stunning backdrops of the San Francisco skyline and the USS Hornet, audience members can enjoy site specific performances by Axis Dance Company, Crosspulse Percussion Ensemble, Fog Beast, 13th Floor Dance Theater, Maze Daiko, Batalá SF, Animate Alameda, College of Alameda Dance and Aeolian sound sculptures by Thingamajigs. Food available for purchase by Kabob Trolley, Satay by the Bay and Tucker’s Ice Cream.
The Waterfront Park Launch Fest is a free, afternoon celebration of the arts presented by Rhythmix Cultural Works, West End Arts District and the City of Alameda with presenting sponsor Alameda Point Partners.
