Winter Ball: featuring Drag Queen Story Hour with Persia - 510 Families

Winter Ball: featuring Drag Queen Story Hour with Persia

Dress in your most fabulous outfits and join the Dimond Library for a winter celebration with cookies, glitter, and a very special Drag Queen Story Hour!

The visiting Queen will be Persia, who is a marvelous storyteller, an educator at an after school arts program, and one of the Bay Area's most beloved drag performers.

Drag Queen Story Hour captures the imagination and play of gender fluidity in childhood and offers kids glamorous, positive, bold queer role models. In spaces like this, kids are able to see people who defy rigid gender roles and imagine a world where people can present as they wish, and where dress up is real.
