My mouth hurt from smiling after our Moms Night Out with Revolution Foods at Ordinaire Wine Shop & Wine Bar. Giggling with friends, old and new, was a terrific way to end a busy weekend of kid wrangling. We toasted, chatted, and painted some while nibbling on dinner and desserts.
Our party filled up the small upstairs loft and flowed downstairs and onto the sidewalk tables. If you visit Ordinaire any day, they pour wines or kombucha by the glass. The list changes everyday, depending on the whims of the staff. You can try a flight, or just grab a glass and relax. You can also buy any bottle off the wall and drink it in the shop for a $10 corkage fee.
Most of the action for our party was in the upstairs loft space where Karen was serving up Sesame Garlic turkey and tofu from the Dinner Hero “speed scratch” cooking kit. Each dinner kit comes with all you need to turn your protein and vegetable of choice into a complete meal for a family of four in about 30 minutes with a custom spice blend and grains. Dinner Hero comes in four flavors right now; we’re trying the Coconut Curry tonight.
