Free Second Saturdays at Redwood State Parks

As a way to celebrate redwoods and their Centennial, Save the Redwoods League is providing free admission to more than 40 redwood state parks every second Saturday of each month throughout the year. Experience California's famous hecka tall trees with your children. Run off their ya-yas with stunning scenery, fresh air, and the opportunity for connecting with family and friends.

The passes cover day-use admission and parking fees. Visitors without passes will need to pay regular fees.

Here are the remaining Free Redwood Second Saturdays:

Passes become available for request at 8am two weeks prior to the Free Second Saturday. Visit www.savetheredwoods.org, click GET YOUR PASS to register and download your free pass for the park you want to visit. Please register for ONE PASS ONLY.Passes will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis according to each park’s capacity. The free pass is valid for your vehicle, including its passengers.

– June 9 – Passes available 5/26 at 8am
– July 14 – Passes available 6/30 at 8am
– Aug. 11 – Passes available 7/28 at 8am
– Sep. 8 – Passes available 8/25 at 8am
– Oct. 13 – Passes available 9/29 at 8am
– Nov. 10 – Passes available 10/27 at 8am
– Dec. 8 – Passes available 11/24 at 8am
