Stand for the Redwoods Festival promises to be a FREE, family-friendly, and fun celebration in San Francisco on the afternoon of Sunday October 14. If you love trees or a fun community event, this one is for you.
Help celebrate the redwoods birthday party by joining in A Creatures of the Redwoods Puppet parade! Parade will start at the Dancing Redwood Tree puppet near the face painting area then work through the crowd. Participants will get to choose from a hand held salmon puppet, California red legged frog mask, or butterfly wings! First come, first pick of the puppets, masks and wings. Supplies are limited but all children are welcome in the parade.
Where: Yerba Buena Gardens, an easy BART ride to Montgomery or Powell stations.
When: Sunday, October 14, 2018 from 12:30pm to 4:30pm
What: Fabulous, free festival to celebrate the giant redwoods of California! Expect live music, a Sierra Nevada brewery beer garden, face-painting, puppets, parade, and impromptu toddlers dancing.
