It is no secret that we’re big fans of the Lawrence Hall of Science. We were saddened and surprised to learn that The Lawrence will remain closed to the public until at least June 2021.
They want to make sure that when they reopen, they can do so safely with the kind of hands-on, engaging experiences that they are known for. Respect.
While the building is closed to the public, they will be working on at-home projects, online education, school instruction, and improving exhibits. Much of this fun, science-y stuff will be available to you at home and for free. While I’ll miss trying to climb on that whale (I have never made it up), I appreciate their stance on improving our STEM education at a distance. Find out more from their website >>
