One of our favorite family photographers, Melissa Schmidt from Icarian Photography, is offering Capturing Childhood photo workshops to encourage women to find the art in their everyday experiences.
About the workshop.
Capturing Childhood is a comprehensive beginner-to intermediate workshop. The mission for the workshop is not only to get you as excited about your camera as you were the day that you first got it but, also, to give you as much information as needed for you to be able to reproduce everything you have learned on your own! You will gain the technical and compositional knowledge — coupled with the support and encouragement of fellow aspiring photographers — to develop your craft well into the future.
Check out the workshop *love notes* on the workshop website and see if you are a good fit!
About the facilitator.
After many years of shooting for friends and family, Melissa Schmidt eventually founded her photography business, Icarian Photography, in January of 2015. Since that time, Melissa has met several aspiring photographers with many questions as to how to make their creative photographic vision come to life. For that reason, Melissa developed the Capturing Childhood workshop — designed for women who want to capture those fleeting, everyday moments of the children in their lives – and do so with vision and confidence.
If you like Melissa’s style and techniques, she intends to show you everything you need to know to create authentic, frame-worthy images of your own family. It is time to unlock your artistic potential!
