Please enjoy the recap of our very fun Summer Brain Quest kickoff party at Lawrence Hall of Science. All photos are courtesy of Icarian Photography.
We spent the morning laughing and learning at an epic explorers’ playdate for kindergartners on Sunday, April 23! Lawrence Hall of Science in Berkeley hosted a very special {510} Families event for our readers with kindergartners.
We had full run of the museum’s many exhibits along with exclusive access to our party room for special Summer Brain Quest themed activities and crafts.
Our young guests were dressed as explorers prepared to embark on an adventure!

About Summer Brain Quest
From the creators of America’s #1 educational bestseller Brain Quest comes Summer Brain Quest: Between Grades K & 1—a workbook, a game, and an outdoor adventure! It’s an interactive and personalized quest to keep kids excited about learning all summer long between Kindergarten and 1st grade.
Our party focused on the kindergarten set, but you can browse all the fantastic Brain Quest titles. Summer Brain Quest: Between Grades K & 1 begins with a map that guides kids through a workbook filled with activities based on phonics, reading, writing, counting, shapes, seasons, habitats, map skills, and more! My kindergartner loved the party and his new workbook.
We are grateful to photographers, Melissa Schmidt and Arlene Easterwood from Icarian Photography, who were on hand to capture the fun on film. They had the best time with the science center space and the playful children. See the full photo gallery here >
