Just when you thought we’ve covered all the sweet treat varieties – you’re wrong. Insert Cookie Dough Parlor, which is everything you can imagine – scoops of cookie dough, on top of scoops of cookie dough. Okay, there’s ice cream and cookies too, but scoops of cookie dough? Come on.
Cookie Dough Parlor in Pinole offers 9 scoops of safe-to-eat cookie dough, ranging from chocolate chip to Cookie Monster (it’s even blue!), plus ice cream and cookies and toppings too. The possibilities are endless – cookie dough + ice cream, cookie dough + cookies, just cookie dough, sundaes, pints to go. Woah.
My boys went straight for the Cookie Monster dough, on top of a scoop of strawberry cheesecake ice cream. I made them split it because that’s just too much sweet for one boy – neither finished their share, and at $3.99, who cares.
The store is cute and clean, has a mini-table for littles, and a few board games to play while indulging. I won’t say we’ll be there every weekend, but it’s definitely a fun treat every once in a while.
